It is a gem of a product, created with great passion and dedication, described as a work of brilliance by true connoisseurs. In his manufacture near Überlingen on Lake Constance in Germany Alfred Waibel and his son Marco have created an extraordinary whisky: Keyne Eyle. 90-year-old Alfred Waibel is the oldest and most experienced whisky distiller in Germany. His primary aim: creating maximum flavour for his sophisticated spirits. Time is of no consequence to him in this. Father and son have spent years experimenting to find out how the best possible aroma is achieved. Only the most select ingredients, hand-chosen barrels, love of the product and ample amounts of time turn a good whisky into this sumptuous and unique offering. This calmness and tranquillity are also reflected in the name of the whisky: Keyne Eyle, which translates as “no rush”. Each time a bottle of Keyne Eyle leaves the manufacture and is brought to a customer the master distiller bids farewell to it as he would an old friend.

Der 90-jährige Alfred Waibel ist wohl der älteste und erfahrenste Whisky-Destillateur Deutschlands. Sein größtes Anliegen: ein Höchstmaß an Geschmack für seinen edlen Tropfen. Zeit spielt für ihn dabei keine Rolle. Vater und Sohn haben jahrelang experimentiert, wie sich das bestmögliche Aroma erreichen lässt.
